When I was in high school and exploring what I wanted to study my first choice was Industrial Psychologist but for a variety of reasons, I never got to study that. I got a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance and worked in a medium sized business for nine years growing it from 17 employees to 85. The part I actually enjoyed the most was working with the people so earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Labour Law (cum laude).

I then moved to Namibia from South Africa and had my first daughter.  This was a very tumultuous time in my life and I landed up with post-natal depression and variety of other things went wrong with my body. As part of my recovery I started to experiment with photographing and it then grew into a business which I loved for over 11 years. I was still always more interested in the people I photographed and their stories than just the photography. 

I saw over and over again the havoc that fear, anxiety and depression can wreak on a person, their life and their family. I overcame panic attacks, anxiety and depression and was motivated to help others do the same. 

My husband and I have been a couple since 2000, we have three children, two daughters and an adopted son. We have walked some scary roads and we have faced insurmountable issues but we have a good life. We live as much for God’s pleasure and glory as we can and we are blessed.

I am far from perfect and do not know it all but with Jesus, I have come so far and I can help you.
